Unlock Need For Speed Underground Vehicles
To play the game with a vehicle from Need For Speed Underground, you must complete each level in Crash mode with a gold ranking. Press and hold L2 + R2 while selecting a vehicle to choose from a selection of NFSU vehicles.

Turbo Boost
During the countdown at the beginning of a race, hold down the gas and brake. Slowly release the brake until your tires begin to smoke. When the lights go green, release the brake and you will experience a turbo boost.

Increase Burnout Meter Quickly
Execute the Turbo Boost at the start. As you reach the CPU driver in 3rd place (you always begin in 4th position) take him down and your Burnout meter will fill rapidly.

Change Colors
Press square button while at a car. Cannot be preformed with a Dominator vehicle.
