If you look at your map and watch the funnels where two mountainous areas or streams create one path for all of the deer to go through, hunt them. This is because of the fact that is gives the deer one way to go and leaves you with the ability to jump them in their bedding area.

Easy Hard Mode
On hard mode, press start go to options. Press restore options and you should see the deer markers on your screen.
