Completing The Impossible Challenge In The Megacorp Games
The Impossible Challenge consists of 60 rounds. Every five rounds it switches between normal and cagematch modes, and the very last round is against the Megapede. In order to win, do not attempt it until you are very strong and have learned how to strafe expertly. Try doing it when you have reached the end of the game and have all or most of the weapons (and have upgraded them).. Also have your experience meter at least three quarters full so that you can level up near the end of the match. The instant nanotech fillup will help tremendously. Reserve your ammunition, especially the Megarocket Tube (Minirocket Tube upgrade) as you will need it against Megapede. Use the Shield Charger when you are low on life and the Megaturret Glove (Miniturret Glove upgrade), Heavy Lancer (Lancer upgrade), and MiniNuke (Gravity Bomb upgrade) for dealing with enemies when the wrench just will not do. Your prize for winning is 200,000 Bolts and a skill point.

Ratchet Playing Video Games
This is pretty cool. After the title blows up dont press any buttons. You will see Ratchet playing Ratchet and Clank and Ratchet and Clank 2; Going Commando. Eventualy he will play Jak and Daxter, JakII and Sly Cooper and the Thevius Racoonus.

Short-Cuts Menu
To unlock the short cuts menu defeat the final boss. The short cut menu allows you to go quickly to the challanges you have already done. Using this menu is a good way to jump around faster and earn more bolts

Insomniac Museum
After you beat the final boss and unlock the short cuts menu, you have to get all weapons {and upgrade all the weapons that can be upgraded} and get all skill points to unlock the museum {which is acsessed through the short-cuts menu}. Here you will find LOTS of cool stuff such as enemies and weapons that the programers did not put in the game.

Wrench Upgrade
After getting back your magnet boots, go back to the first planet, and then go to the place when you have to use your Beam to shoot and then the walls will be moving and you have to jump over them to get to the other side. Before you shoot the beam, go deeper inside the room, you'll find a planform that you can use you magnetboots. Go up and you will find a vendor machine. Be sure to get all the ammos of all your weapons and at least get some of the strong weapons because when you slide down to the tunnel, there is a swamp monster there. After defeating the monster, you will have your wrench upgraded and the instruction will be given for how to use you wrench.

Tractor Beam
Go to Planet Oozla. Complete the "Explore the swamp ruins" mission as described above and then jump into the circular slide. There is a Megacorp employee at the bottom of the slide and he will sell you the Tractor Beam for a price of 1,000 bolts. It's essential that you purchase this item because it's required to access many key areas in the game.

Verbal Warning
On planet Todano, the one with the rabid squirrels, at the very begining of the planet, you see a red transport bearing tourist. As the tourists appear, destroy them with your Omniwrench. More and more tourists will approach, but continue killing them, then a funny message will appear asking you nicely to refrain from mindlessly killing the visitors. Continue killing the tourists, and two other funny messages will appear.

Ryno 2
The Ryno 2, although expensive (1,000,000 bolts) is worth it and makes anything easier. Such as mining for moonstones. (It really helps blow the he*l out of the yetis). to get it you can go back and play thorugh the planets. Play thourgh the game a second time, or play the Maxi games.

Desert Mining
To mine raritanium in the desert, get the gravity boots, go to the desert, walk up a slope going directly upwards, get in the machine, find raritanium, mine it (they will tell you how), and that's it! You can also do this on the ice planet where you rescue Ratchet's girlfriend, except you need to find the machine first (gravity boots are not needed).

Beat The Final Boss
The final boss (a gigantic mutated proto-pet) may seem extremely difficult and something to waste your ammo on. However, there is one extremely easy way to beat it, and it is pretty obvious if you are rich. Just purchase the Zodiac and keep using it. Ammo boxes will appear, break them to refill your Zodiac, 2 ammo apiece, if you still haven't won. If no ammo appears, chances are one of those bomb things actvated and moved by your tractor beam will. If it doesn't or if your are like me and are too lazy to press start, gadgets, tractor beam, triangle, triangle, (you normally shouldn't have gadgets in quick select) then quick select a weapon and fire away. Chances are it has very little health then, and you should win instantly. If you manage to lose, then think before you waste 40,000 bolts on ammo (10,000 bolts per shot)

Ridin' The Rails
In the planet over-run by the proto-pet, ride the rails without getting hurt to get a skill point. Don't forget that while on the rails you can swing your ratchet and use weapons like the lancer, perfect for nocking the proto-pets off the rails!

Bolt Meter On Challenge Mode
While playing a game on challenge mode, kill lots of enemys to increase your bolt meter. The higher the #, the more bolts you get! If you get hurt, it will go back to 0.

Different Challenges In Battle Stadiums
Upgrade your weapons to get a lot of new challenges in places like the MegaCorp Games. For example, after getting the Mini-Nuke, the challenge "Destroy all enemies with 8 Mini-Nuke Ammo" or something like that will appear. Also, you will unlock new challenges after beating the game, like the challenge "Dodge Chain Blade for 2 minutes".

Mining The Iceland
All you have to do is get the hypnomatic and save Angela then find the ratainium machine. Use it to find the moon crystals and get a skill point (you have to find ALL of the moon crystals to get the skill point).

The Easiest Way To Beat The Game
First, get 1 million bolts. It sounds impossible but really it's not. Just keep on going through the levels breaking all breakables and destroying all of the enemies. Then, buy the Ryno 2. Then when you get to the boss of the game, just use the Ryno 2 and it only takes about 50 bullets!

Chainblade's And B2Brawler's Weakness!
If your not that good at Rachet & Clank: Going Commando, read this. Of course, every boss has a weakness and I decided to put the 1st two bosses on here. If you have the Plasma Pistol or The Vaporizer, shoot Chainblade 4 times. When you get to face the B2Brawler, use the Gravity Bomb or the Mini-Nuke as much as you can on him.

Hidden Level And Box Breaker
On planet Oozla in the MegaCorp store when yo're almost at the end of the store there is going to be a few boxes, and next to that there is a ramp (Make sure you have the gravity boots). Walk up the ramp. There is going to be a gadget vendor (You might want to load up on your guns) and next to that there is a tube. Slide down it. You will land on a lillypad. And a monster will come out of the water. Kill it and you will get somthing called the Box Breaker. This will help you to find more bolts and get them faster.

Level Skip To Boldan
This only works in challenge mode and you need all skill points and mods and is useless after you finish the missle silo mission. To do this just go to Insomniac Museum through the shortcuts menu.

Blue ChainBlade
When you're in Challenge Mode, go to Marker Nebula and go to the Battle Arena. Fight and defeat ChainBlade twice with the Mega HK22 Gun with Acid Mod. Then he will turn blue on the third try.

Easy Gun Upgrade
Go to planet Oozla with the Magna Boots. Then go to the Megacorp store. Go to the stairs where the boxes come from the ground. Before you take the left to make you face the stairs, look strait ahead of you. Go strait then take a left, a right, and another right. Then go strait, buy full ammo and then go through the hole. Use whatever weapon you would like to fight the giant snail creature with.
